Orlando Zoo is dedicated to showcasing the remarkable wildlife native to Florida, while also highlighting the stories of species that have been introduced to the region.

Our conservation efforts center on supporting the growth, protection, and long‑term sustainability of Florida’s native animals. With more than 49 species currently listed as endangered and over 100 classified as protected, educating our community about the vital role each species plays in our ecosystem is essential.
